Formal Hire
We offer an extensive range of men’s and boys formal hire from traditional morning wear to highland wear.
All of our outfits are fitted and tailored to your exact size. We stock a large selection of styles, sizes and fittings to suit every occasion.
For Wedding Hire
All suit hire bookings can be made in store up to six months in advance of your wedding all you need to do is make an appointment to come in and choose the outfits you want to wear. Once you have chosen your outfits we will book a fitting for you and the rest of your wedding party to be measured in the store usually 6-8 weeks before your wedding date. Appointments for boy’s suits are usually made for 2-3 weeks before your wedding so the suits fit correctly on the day. Once you have all been measured the suits will be prepared and ready for collection on the Thursday before your wedding at 10:00am and are to be returned to us by 5:00pm on the following Monday. Alternative collection and return times can be arranged if needed. Appointments can be made by phone on (01476)563027 by e-mail or by calling in the store.
If any member of your party cannot make it to the store for a fitting before your wedding suits can be prepared from measurements sent to us by phone, fax, and e-mail or by dropping them in to the store. The following measurements will be needed for each suit:
For the Jacket
Chest size
For the trousers
Waist size
Inside leg measurement
For the shirt
Collar size
The height of the wearer is also needed.
Hat and shoe sizes will be needed if required.
For Kilt Hire
If you wish to hire Kilts then the booking process is the same as for wedding hire and we will need the following sizes for each person:
For the Jacket
Chest size
For the kilt
Waist size
Kilt length
For the shirt
Collar size
Shoe sizes will also be needed.
For Evening Wear Hire
All evening suit hires can be booked up to six months in advance all you need to do is make an appointment to be measured by either phoning on (01476)563027, e-mail or by calling in the store. Once you have chosen your style of suit and been measured you can collect it up to two days before your function date. All your measurements can be kept so that you can simply re-order by phone or e-mail and collect it from the store.
