Jackets

There are three different types of jackets available for hire that can be worn with a kilt. They all come in both men’s and boys sizes as well as short, regular and long fittings.

• The Prince Charlie jacket comes in black, blue and green. This jacket can be worn as evening wear with a classic dress waistcoat and bow tie or as day wear with a wing collar shirt with a ruche tie.
• The Argyll jacket comes only in black and is worn for day wear, it is similar in style to a normal jacket but has a turned back cuff. This jacket can be worn with either a wing collar shirt with a ruche tie or with a Ghillie shirt.
• The tweed jacket comes in dark grey and is worn as day wear with either a wing collar shirt with a ruche tie or with a Ghillie shirt.

Kilts

All of our kilts are made in Scotland from 13oz pure new wool in the following tartans.

Waistcoats

There are two different styles of waistcoat that can be hired they are both available in men’s and boys sizes.

• The classic dress waistcoat comes in black, blue and green it is worn with the Prince Charlie jacket as either day or evening wear.
• The high button waistcoat comes in black, green, blue or grey and can be worn with any style of jacket as either day or evening wear.

Shirts

There are two different styles of shirt that can be hired they come in both men’s and boys sizes.

• The classic wing collar shirt with a double cuff can be worn with either a bow tie as evening wear or with a ruche tie as day wear.
• The open necked Ghillie shirt which can be worn as either day or evening wear.

Sporran

There are two different styles of sporran both can be hired in men’s and boy’s sizes.

• The dress sporran is worn with the prince Charlie jacket for evening wear and comes in black, blue, green and grey.
• The semi-dress sporran is for less formal occasions and can be worn with either the Argyll or Tweed jacket.

Accessories

• A black leather belt with chrome buckle
• Cream hose
• Black Ghillie brogues
• Kilt pin
• Flashes (black, blue, green and red)
• Ruche ties (we have a large selection of ruche ties to match all of our tartans)
• Bow ties (black, navy blue, scarlet and wine)
